| 01 · DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND |
|---|
With the rapid development of intelligent connected vehicles, connectors face higher requirements — especially in miniaturization, high-frequency high-speed transmission, and reliability. The widespread adoption of LiDAR, 8MP high-definition cameras, autonomous driving systems, and in-vehicle Ethernet is gradually replacing traditional automotive architectures.
Due to their larger size and limited bandwidth, conventional FAKRA connectors can no longer meet the high data-transmission standards of next-generation smart vehicles. To address this shift, we began developing the Mini-FAKRA 4-in-1 connector. Using a micro-coaxial cable (MCA) solution, it is more compact in structure, significantly reduces signal loss, and is better suited to high-density cabling environments.
Mini-FAKRA already meets the stringent communication performance requirements of L3-and-above autonomous driving — fully aligned with the “higher frequency, higher speed, smaller size” direction of automotive electronics.

| 02 · FAKRA VS. MINI-FAKRA 4-IN-1 |
|---|
Traditional FAKRA remains a mature, cost-effective choice for low- and mid-frequency applications: its standardized design reduces development complexity, minimizes signal interference, and prevents mis-insertion, with standardized maintenance and replacement processes.
Beijida’s Mini-FAKRA 4-in-1 retains these core advantages while cutting volume by more than 80% — with stronger performance that fully supports L3+ autonomous driving, making it the preferred connection solution in the miniaturization trend.
| Traditional FAKRA | BJD Mini-FAKRA 4-in-1 | |
|---|---|---|
| Volume | Standard size | Over 80% smaller |
| Structure | Standardized, mis-insertion-proof | Compact 4-in-1, MCA micro-coax solution |
| Signal performance | Mature and stable | Lower loss, high-frequency high-speed |
| Best for | Low- / mid-frequency, cost-sensitive uses | L3+ autonomous driving, high-density cabling |

| 03 · COMPATIBLE VERSIONS, DIFFERENTIATED TECHNOLOGY |
|---|
TE-compatible version. Our BJD Mini-FAKRA 4-in-1 solution adopts a differentiated structural technology path while remaining compatible with mainstream standards, building an independent technology system.

| 04 · FULLY AUTOMATED PRODUCTION CAPABILITY |
|---|
BJD’s Mini-FAKRA production covers the entire process in-house — from precision stamping, injection molding, and assembly to testing.

| 05 · REAL-WORLD APPLICATIONS |
|---|
| Intelligent Perception Systems |
|---|
| Supports high-speed synchronous transmission of multiple HD video channels and high-precision sensor data — smear-free, low-latency images for 360° surround-view imaging, blind-spot monitoring, parking assistance, and surround-view stitching, giving vehicles real-time, complete environmental perception. |
| Autonomous Driving Systems (ADAS / L3+ Control Units) |
|---|
| Connects radar, cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors to the autonomous driving main control platform with high-bandwidth, low-latency transmission of critical data — supporting obstacle recognition, distance measurement, and path planning, and forming the core foundation for advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change, and emergency braking. |
